It is a challenge for many countries to find masks to protect people from coronavirus. Overall the demand for masks was never anticipated as this pandemic situation never existed and such a demand was not there anytime in history. So there is so much shortage of your N-95 masks and other maks to have minimum protection from coronavirus, in this regard new-innovations are happening globally. Some people are using plain cloth or bandana. To protect oneself they are unscientific, as the virus is a very small particle. If somebody infected sneezes or the droplets from the mouth that comes out from somebody within a distance of 2 meters are one would be highly insecure. Even the cloth might hold the virus particles for a longer time and some of them could enter through nose, mouth, and eyes. So What could be the other minimalistic approach which one could adopt to protect oneself from coronavirus. To explore this some of the options are like this: A continuous screen which can be used - say the used pet bottle of a cool drink bottle, which is transparent. A big bottle of 1.5 liters is suitable as a screen. At least to it protects from direct exposure. From inside one could use a regular bandana to protect oneself that is a basic requirement. Something is better than nothing. The pet bottle can be made into a screen curved sheet, by cutting off the cone part of the bottle and the bottom part of the bottle In between the transparent cylindrical can be made into a sheet by cutting it vertically. It needs to be pinned to a thick sponge piece wrapped in a cloth piece. The are to be tied to an elastic band. So that it can be used by people of different age groups conveniently. It becomes easily wearable. They can sanitised easily and reusable. One can use it over the helmet without protective screen also. I am an innovator of more than 100 designs for the common good and working for the grassroots level development and earth centers realisation.
